Services for our NHS Patients
We warmly welcome all our NHS patients to our Dermatology Services. The Brighton, Sussex, Surrey and West Kent Dermatology Services are specialist NHS service for those patients requiring treatments in these areas. Our team of over 40 Consultants and GP’s with Special Interest (GPwSI) help to provide patients with rapid access to specialist opinion, and we can also provide care locally for patients, with a choice of different clinic locations across Sussex and Surrey.

The service is part of a new government initiative to provide patients with Care Closer to Home, and was commissioned by each Hospital Trust.
Receiving treatment can be a daunting time for patients, we ensure that we will do our very best to make all patients feel comfortable and looked after during their time with us. Our staff members have all been selected because of their experience and expertise in the field of Dermatology. Our Consultant Dermatologists are some of the most respected Consultants within the world, so you will always be in safe hands.
We provide all our patients with our patient helpline number so that if you ever have a question or a concern there is someone there to speak with. You can find this number on your appointment letter.

We provide a telephone help-line for patients with general enquiries regarding the service. The help-line is staffed from 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, and you are welcome to give us a call if you have any questions about your appointment or care within the service. You will find details of your patient helpline on your appointment letter.
Please Note for NHS Patients:
- The maximum wait for a clinic appointment is 6-weeks
- We can only see NHS patients registered in certain areas
- A referral letter is needed from your GP before we can make an appointment
- All referrals must meet our referral guidelines
